Brande Victorian is the News and Operations Editor at Madame Noire and a former freelance blogger/writer and medical journalist.

As a contributor to Vibe Vixen, Madame Noire, Clutch Magazine, Coco and Creme, Frugivore, and TheFreshXpress, Brande has written about fashion, entertainment, pop culture, and issues concerning the African American community, particularly black women. Her writing has been picked up by The Root, Vibe, The Huffington Post, The Grio, Loop 21, Uptown Magazine, News One, Examiner, Afro, and The Week.

As a member of the editorial staff at WoltersKluwer Health/Lippincott Williams and Wilkins, Brande worked for four years in medical trade publications covering audiology, hematology/oncology, and nephrology, and has been honored by the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors for her writing.  She currently writes career development articles for ENT Today.
